Leapfrog Learning
Creating classrooms where all children can thrive
About Us
Leapfrog Learning was established out of a need for Neurodiversity advocacy and training within the education sector. Amanda MacLean (Paediatric Occupational Therapist and Educational Consultant) has been providing training in the education sector (ELC through to primary and secondary) for more than 15 years, and her team are now as passionate as her! Her neurodiverse team includes both neurotypical and neurodivergent therapists and trainers. Some have neurodivergent children of their own, which brings an extra layer of lived experience and practical advice.
Training through Leapfrog Learning will always be:
Practical
We know the education system is struggling with staff shortages, large class sizes, and reporting requirements, and will always advise of strategies with this in mind.
Neurodiverse Affirming
Our workshops/ training focus on supporting neurodivergent students using strengths based approaches, accomodations and strategies.
Respectful
We know that teachers are working under immense pressure, and meeting the needs of all children can be an impossible task. Workshops are designed to make your jobs easier, not harder.
Achievable
Small changes can go a long way!
Evidence Based
Times have changed, and so must our approaches and strategies! We are determined to always provide the most current, evidenced based training.
