Leapfrog Learning

Neurodiversity Training for Educational and Community Settings

About us

Leapfrog Learning was established out of a need for neurodiversity advocacy and training across education.

Amanda MacLean (Paediatric Occupational Therapist and Inclusion Consultant) has been providing training across education, from early learning through to primary and secondary, for more than 25 years.

With lived experience of her own, and as a parent of three neurodivergent children, Amanda has also seen things from the other side of the school gate. She knows how much teachers care, and how stretched they are. She has also seen how hard it can still be for schools to understand and put accommodations in place, and how much advocacy families often need to do along the way.

Amanda’s team share her passion. They include both neurotypical and neurodivergent therapists and trainers, with years of hands-on experience in early learning centres, schools and community settings. The strategies we share have been tried and tested in real, busy environments.

Our goal is to make this easier for everyone: giving educators the practical knowledge, tools and confidence to support neurodivergent learners, so everyone can work as a team.

Training through Leapfrog Learning will always be:

Practical

We know educators are juggling staff shortages, large groups and reporting requirements, and we always recommend strategies with this in mind.

Neurodiversity affirming

Our training focuses on supporting neurodivergent learners using strengths-based approaches, accommodations and strategies.

Respectful

We know educators are working under immense pressure, and meeting the needs of every learner can feel impossible. Our workshops are designed to make your job easier, not harder.

Achievable

Small changes can go a long way!

Evidence-based

Times have changed, and so must our approaches. We’re committed to providing the most current, evidence-based training.
